Fermented Shark Tank🦈
The fermented shark tank is a pitch opportunity open for all startups, coming from Iceland and abroad. The event will take place during our Takeover day on the 15th of May in the festival area, around Kolaportið. You will take a bite and a shot and start pitching with the time ticking, repeating this every minute with a maximum of 3 minutes to pitch your company!
Who can apply?
Startups based anywhere in the world, everyone is welcome.
Startups that are less than 5 years old.
Startups that have at least launched an MVP and their own website.
Startups that are an independent company (not a subsidiary).
The gist of it is that you have to take a bite of hákarl 🦈 and a shot of Brennivín 🥃 (the Icelandic liquor) and then pitch your startup 🚀 If you dare, apply to participate here!

Silicon Vikings New Nordics Pitch Competition
Silicon Vikings New nordics pitch competition has become a yearly thing at Iceland Innovation Week. The event will take place on May 16th at 20:00 PM in Kolaportið — followed by our afterparty to wrap up our festival!
