We invite you to Iceland, where wild ideas and daring hypotheses are incubated in a creative petri dish of collaboration. At this year’s Ok, bye, we will don our lab coats and safety goggles to make bold experiments and groundbreaking discoveries, cultivating new means to solve the climate crisis.
We work closely with our main partners at Climeworks, Carbfix and Transition Labs to collaborate on the highest-impact climate projects from around the globe and to establish Iceland as a hub of climate innovation and knowledge sharing. These partnerships enable us to foster a spirit of teamwork and collaboration. Together, we amplify the reach of innovative solutions and strengthen the foundation for a sustainable future.
The name Ok, bye honors Ok-jökull, the first Icelandic glacier lost to climate change. Once spanning 16 square kilometers, it has melted into a fraction of its former glory, no longer a glacier but a stark reminder of what’s at stake.
Thanks, global warming.
