I WANT TO ATTEND ICELAND INNOVATION WEEK - WHAT DOES THE FESTIVAL PASS INCLUDE?
The Festival Pass grants access to: a Takeover day of keynotes and discussions on May 15th, the unique, performative Ok, bye Climate Summit, Silicon Vikings Pitch Competition and final party on May 16th.
Investor Pass holders will also get access to a special investor day program on May 14th.
Side events take place throughout the week, from Monday and Friday.
WHAT ARE THE DATES FOR 2024?
Iceland Innovation Week will take place on May 15th-16th but side events take place the whole week. Save the dates and we’ll see you in Iceland!
WHERE CAN I BUY FESTIVAL PASSES?
Last year we sold out so grab your festival pass here! We offer three different type of passes, a startup pass, a general attendee pass and an investor pass that gives access to our investor day on May 14th.
IS THIS A FESTIVAL OR A CONFERENCE?
Iceland Innovation Week is a festival. Why? Because we like to celebrate innovation in all its forms! Even though we have one official festival venue in Kolaportið, side events take place all over ReykjavÃk making it into a full blown festival extravaganza.
WHERE DOES THE FESTIVAL TAKE PLACE?
Our curated program will be hosted in Kolaportið, an old flea market downtown Reykjavik on May 15th-16th. We’ll also have pop-up spaces nearby throughout the week and our partners will host side events in offices, swimming pools, restaurants, buses, innovation centres and other venues.

WHO ARE THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE FESTIVAL?
Iceland Innovation Week is powered by a team of experienced people coming from the Icelandic startup ecosystem. We have been working with and for startups for years and felt Iceland was missing its own festival celebrating the innovation and startup scene. So like every other founder’s story, we got together, decided it was a great idea, made it happen and lived happily ever after.

Is there a special investor program?
Yes! For the first time we are arranging a special investor day on May 14th. This includes workshops for VC’s and LP’s in the morning topped with an exclusive adventure into a magnificent Lava Cave just outside of Reykjavik in the afternoon. Our investor pass holders will also get access to our investor lounge at Vinnustofa Kjarvals throughout the festival.
