This year, Iceland Innovation Week takes over Austurbæjarbíó, our brand new home and one of Reykjavík’s most iconic venues. We’re super excited to bring the energy of the festival into this historic space.

Side events will take place throughout the whole week 26-29th April 2027.

Iceland Innovation Week is a festival.

Why? Because we like to celebrate innovation in all its forms! Even though we have one official festival venue the side events take place all over Reykjavík making it into a full blown festival extravaganza.

Iceland Innovation Week is powered by a team of experienced people coming from the Icelandic startup ecosystem. We have been working with and for startups for years and felt Iceland was missing its own festival celebrating the innovation and startup scene. So like every other founder’s story, we got together, decided it was a great idea, made it happen and lived happily ever after.
