Iceland Innovation Week is not your average conference… it’s a festival that celebrates and showcases innovation. The dates for the festival are May 13-17th 2024 and our festival pass is valid for our main program taking place in Kolaportid May 15-16th.

Events ranging from panel discussions and company visits to happy hours and an icy ocean dip are held in locations in Reykjavík throughout the week.

International Delegations

FAQs

Who can bring over a delegation?

Delegations are open to international attendees in the startup and innovation sectors. A minimum number for a delegation is ten participants

Festival passes for delegations are available for startups, investors, and general passes.


Can you invoice me for the tickets?

Yes, tickets can either be purchased online, or we can send an invoice for the amount of tickets needed.

Where does the festival take place?

The main festival program takes place in Kolaportið, an old fish market in the center of Reykjavik. Side events take place in locations all over Reykjavik like offices, bars, event venues, and even in nature.


Are there hotel/restaurant discounts available?

Yes, we’ve put together a list of our favourite local spots that offer discounts on activities, accommodations, and dining.

How can I purchase tickets?

Our application process consists of an introductory call, where we learn about your goals for the delegation trip. Tickets can be purchased by contacting Edda at edda@innovationweek.is


What will the weather be like in Iceland?

Iceland in May has average temperatures of 4°C and 10°C (40°- 50° Fahrenheit) and 16-20 hours of daylight. The festival takes place inside, but pack layers and comfortable footwear for outdoor excursions.
